Well the gang is all in Paris now. I had a great time in Senegal but was happy to return to "civilazation". Today we went to the Picaso Museum and then walked the Canal St. Martin. After a late lunch we climbed the steps to sacre coure. Yesterday was a bad one for me. Christmas eve, before our NotreDame experience we had a nice meal. I had duck. But as I learned that night- my duck was not all that is was qucked up to be. I got very ill and spent yesterday in the toilet.

well we are in senegal. dakar was very busy and very well busy. Kaolack is more what i expected. dirt roads, lots of people but more spread out. we took a car ride 4 hours yesterday to get here, it was terrible. not so much the ride but getting the ride. chuck had to bargain and bargain. she is amazing. i would npot last 10 minutes here alone. so thats all from africa.

So my great friend John got me a wonderful Christmas gift. What you say- you opened it. Yes I opened it. It was in a UPS box. I didn't know it was a Christmas gift. But once I opened, Giddy up! The ENTIRE first season of Queer as Folk.

My god is this show good. If you still have someone to shop for- get them Queer as Folk. Already I watched the first 3 episodes.

Ok, I just checked the flight departures and arrivals between Paris and Dakar. In the last to days they have averaged 2 hours behind! Oh this is bad. Chuck warned me of such things. But No No I can't handle this. I need to be on time. Staci and I will be so excited to see Chuck and Beth our heads will BUST! If we are late.

And going to Paris from Senegal. We have a time set to meet the apartment people. Is it too late to take the train to Dakar???

At a seminar today I learned that a man went to jail for bidding up the prices of his own auctions on ebay. I admitted that I had done this twice. My prof alluded that this was unethical. Do you think this is unethical.

To clarify all I did was use a friend to bid on an item I was selling. Others then bid higher to win the auction. In other words I "tricked" them into paying what they really valued the product at. Am I unethical for this? Are they unethical for not bidding their true valuation?

Kris & Paige are visiting us in March. It reminds me how many other friends that we hope will visit soon.

Yet another reason I don't like Arizona.

So this summer I left my wallet on the dash board. When I returned many of the cards were well melted and bent. This was ok since they all kept working. The ATM over time developed a crack. Finally this week it went in an ATM and did not come out. All this is ok as I had already orded another for the trip. That card has not yet arrived and is the problem. See I wished to see the James Bond flick tonight. But the Tucson theatres do not take credit. Only cash! Shit their asses. So I got beer instead. Its not all bad- Star Trek, the Search for Spock is on.
