Pajama

had a great visit from Staci's mom & grandma. During the visit a wonderful woman named Mary came to see Leona and Maryann. Saturday night after dinner we decided it would be fun to have a night cap at Starbucks in our pajamas. This picture is more artsy. A Dream Come True

When I was in high school and later I made a list of things that I wanted to achieve/do in life. One was to own Hearst Castle. Yeah I dreamed big back then. Well I don't expcet to ever achieve that goal, but I have gotten a bit closer thanks to Staci. Staci got us tickets to swim in the pool. The swim was a fundraiser for some arts organization. But who cares about that. We swam in the Neptune Pool. It was great. It was a bit cold- but great. Pictures of the swim can be found here.

KFC Anyone?

As if 8 cats and a dog is not enough this chicken showed up on our driveway last week. It was so cute. I put it in a box to protect it from the cats & dog. But the kittens got at her when I was not looking and... well they ate its poor brains. It was so sad. Alas... a chicken would have been too much anyhow.
