Emma Grace

Emma died today in surgery.

We took Emma to the vet today to have surgery to have her lump removed. We were told it was just a big mass due to the trauma when she was bit by a dog. Turns out it was cancer. But real problem was her heart stopped multiple times during surgery. Staci and I rushed to the vet and got there just as she died. She was still warm when they brought her out and she looked beautiful as the day she adopted us.

Tan Lines

So...tan lines. Hot or not?

I don't mean "farmer's tans" where there are lines and the neck and sleeve and I certainly don't mean sock tans. Neither of those are hot.

But what about tan lines from underwear? A few people I know find them hot/sexy...I myself believe that a tan line on a nice stomach is not a bad thing. But am I and these friends of mine in a weird minority? What's the verdict?

Race for the Cure

Staci, Sam, & Josh ran in the Race for the Cure last Sunday. I took a few pictures and walked around the park until they came back.

They all made great time. Staci was not even winded. You can see the other pictures here.

But why I really blogged was to ask what else could we possible have runs/walks for. We got the AIDS walk, the Cancer runs... What about a skip event?

Google Maps

In the world of technology the people at Google really are doing cool things. A few weeks ago they came out with a beta version of mapping that allows one to drag the map zoom in etc... It was cool. But today they topped themselves. They came out with Satellite maps.

You can actually see a space taken photo of your neighboorhood or just about anyhwere. One can spend hours "visiting" the country in this manner. Go ahead see what the Statue of Libery looks like from space.

Well in case readers want to know, this is where Staci & I live.

Ass Words

So I am walking on campus today. I have always been amazed at what undergrads are willing to wear. However, this surprise at least doubled today.

No it wasn't a girl showing her not so thin belly even though she would look very attractive with it covered, and it was not another male dressed like a bum. Instead it dealt with words on the ass. We have all seen the U A bouncing up and down with each cheek movement. The girl I saw today had on a short skirt- actually not as short as others I have seen. But what attracted my attention was the letters: J-U-I-C-Y on the ass of this girl. Juicy? What is this girl trying to tell us with juicy on her ass?

Changes

I have been busy working on the update to the web page. It looks great in my browser but does not always look like it should in other browsers.
Readers do me a favor. Please email me if you see something that you think should probebly not look that way. Let me know what browser you are using and what seems to be wrong.
