California here we come....

Many of you already know, but I am a grad. student studying economics. I will (knock on wood) defend my dissertation and be done in May. I have been hired as an Assistant Professor at the new University of California in Merced. This past weekend Staci and I went to scope out homes and found this one. We made an offer- they countered, we countered... and today they finally accepted. Merced is a bit of a dump, but the house makes up for the city. Pictures and a movie can be found here.

April in Paris

I (Todd) just got back from Paris. It was great. Sorensen was going to be there after a conference in London. He doesn't like London so he planned to go to Paris and convinced me to meet him there. Bethany hearing I was going to be there, flew in from Bancock. (I know its not spelled that way but shouldn't it be?) Anyhow we had a great time. Well I and Beth did. Todd seemed a bit tired.
